More than 92 thousand Minnesota home owners are in foreclosure or facing the possibility of foreclosure. The Mortgage Bankers Association says nearly 7 percent of all mortgage holders in the state were behind in their payments in the third quarter which is a record high. Nationwide nearly 10 percent of loans are at least 30 days past due. Minnesota ranks 39th among all states in delinquencies but 15th in foreclosures underway.
