I am thrilled to be part of this challenge. For the past 3-5 years, I have noticed significant hair loss throughout the front and crown of my head. As a woman this is extremely devastating - as appearance is very important. I look forward to sharing my experience as I go through the Follicle Four Challenge for the next six months with high hopes that those of us with thinning hair have opportunity to maintain and experience hair growth.

I have had very short hair for about three years and for the first time, I am now letting my hair grow longer. Before starting the hair program, you could see my scalp through my thinning hair. Now, after three months, this isn’t the case anymore. My hair is visibly thicker and seeing through to the scalp is less and less. Growing my hair longer is very exciting.
Call me crazy, but this is true. As part of the program I am taking the supplement twice a day which helps block the DHT in my system. What I have been noticing over the last month are my eyelashes are filling in. Over the years I have had small sections on both my top and bottom lids losing hair. Now I have fuller eyelashes. I’ll take it as a BONUS!
December 2009
Today, December 1st, I went to have my haircut for the first after starting the program. My stylist is someone who has cut my hair for almost two years. About 15 minutes into the haircut she asked me if I was using a different shampoo or different products in my hair. I asked her why and she said that my hair felt stronger – almost coarser. So, I explained to her about the laser treatments and hair products that I have been using the past six weeks and she was quite impressed. The overall health of my hair has improved. It will be interesting the next time I have my next hair appointment in 6-8 weeks if she will see any additional changes.
