Witnesses say it looked - and sounded - like arson. A vacant commercial building on University Avenue in St Paul was destroyed by a fire that broke out shortly after 9 o'clock last night. Witnesses reported hearing an explosion, then seeing flames
One firefighter suffered minor injuries when he fell down an 8-foot ladder.
The building is located in the 1500 of West University, near the busy intersection of Snelling Avenue. Investigators are looking into reports that something was tossed into the building to trigger the blaze.
