Charges are expected this week against a driver and his companion after a hit and run accident early Sunday morning that killed a 44 year old Champlin woman. Heather Lyn Solberg.....who was the mother of two young children.....was struck as she and others crossed Hiway 169 in Champlin about two hours after a fireworks show. The car had run a red light and left the scene but a 34 year old man and his 23 year old female companion were arrested a short time later. It's believed the female drove the car after the accident. Investigators say alcohol was involved.
