A funeral was held Thursday for Twins owner Carl Pohlad, who died Monday. The service was held at the Basilica of St. Mary, which was filled. Eulogies were given by Pohlad's three sons, who all remembered their dad as a successful businessman, but also a successful husband and father. While others had different views of Pohlad, specifically Pohlad the baseball owner, Bill Pohlad says his dad did the best he could with the Twins. A funeral program read, "When all is said and done, Carl Pohlad was a regular guy from the wrong side of the tracks who made it to the big league." Carl Pohlad was 93 years old.
