anderson windows of bayport, minnesota is announcing more cuts: 400 temporary layoffs and 50 permanent job cuts. the company expects the temporary cuts to last through the first quarter of 2009.

the temporary layoffs are among production workers; the 50 permanent cuts are among management and office workers.

an anderson spokeswoman says the company has to reduce capacity to adjust to the tough economic times.
