A day after Minneapolis voters cast ballots under the city's new "Ranked Choice" system of voting..the counting of those ballots has begun.
Interim Elections Director Pat O'Connor says election judges who helped with the Senate recount last fall are going through the ballots.
O'Connor says they'll be releasing preliminary results as early as next week with the final official tally coming in by mid-December.
He says he's pleased with how the new method of voting went..with few problems reported at polling places across the city.
